Sometimes, when we’re about to give up, we’re a lot closer to our goals than we realize. Christopher Columbus and his men had been sailing since August 3rd with no signs of land. On October 9th, some sailors threatened to mutiny if he didn’t head back to Spain. Columbus agreed but asked them to hang in there for three more days. On October 12th at 2 AM, the Pinta’s sailors cried out, Tierra! Tierra! Think of him, and don’t give up!
