Do you have a favorite hymn? If so, the chances are good, it may have been written by the “Queen of American Hymn Writers,” Fanny Crosby. Struck blind and fatherless as an infant, Crosby nevertheless developed a cheerful spirit and a strong faith. Her talent for poetry was directed to hymn writing, and she produced several thousand gospel songs, including some of the world’s most popular and enduring hymns.
