This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Korean War, which lasted from 1950-1953. As far as American conflicts go, this one is often referred to as “the forgotten war” largely because it occurred between epic World War II and massively divisive Vietnam. However, I believe that no veteran should remain unthanked, his or her service downplayed or cast aside. Quite appropriately, my new novel, East of the Sun, is about to release. This story about a MASH nurse and a wounded North Korean officer who doesn’t seem to be what his papers say will bring you right into the Korean War setting. You’ll come away not only uplifted by its message but feeling grateful to those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
East of the Sun is now available for pre-order in the Kindle app, the print version to be released on St. Patrick’s Day.
